The A1A shed is now largely complete with all brickwork, blockwork, cladding, doors etc fitted. Work is taking place to lay trackwork and internal walls are being painted. Work on 31418 has seen 12 overhauled fuel Injectors fitted along with relevant pipework. Work to the wheelsets has also been undertaken. Work has started on renewing the steel above the handrail recesses at no 2 end with the corroded areas cut out ready for renewal. Door frames and cab doors are being ‘adjusted’ to … Read more
31271 will be participating at the Mixed Traffic Event at the Nene Valley Railway over the weekend of Sat 10th – Sun 11th October.
We are delighted to announce that planning permission was obtained for our proposed shed at Swanwick, MRB a few months ago. The land was cleared and stored wagons and bogies were moved which enabled four 40 foot track panels to be removed. The land was built up and levelled and piling has been carried out. … Read more

All locos are now stored for the winter except 31271 which remains in ‘warm store’ at NVR.
