We are delighted to announce that planning permission was obtained for our proposed shed at Swanwick, MRB a few months ago.
The land was cleared and stored wagons and bogies were moved which enabled four 40 foot track panels to be removed. The land was built up and levelled and piling has been carried out.
Work to the ground beams and pile caps is complete and the steel has been ordrered.
The erection of the steel structure is planned to commence in January.
It is anticipated that if all goes to plan, we will have our 2 track shed which is large enough to store 4 class 31s by June 2015.
